The British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers

An underline statement

The BIPDT is a teaching organisation offering practical courses to dog training instructors wishing to gain a qualification which is recognised throughout the canine world.

Courses are held annually and students are encouraged to instruct using positive reward based training methods and take a holistic approach to their teaching with modern up-to-date techniques.

At the end of the week an examination can be taken in one of the four grades. The examination is carried out by independent judges.

We offer you a choice of disciplines; Companion/Obedience dog, Working Trials, Field Trials or Agility. You will see aspects of all the disciplines during the week but you only take your examination in one of the disciplines.
